Vitoria Corsa Evo CX vs Vitoria Corsa CX tubulars
Hi.
I am trying to figure out what the difference is. Vitoria website only lists Vitoria Corsa CX, I see both being sold. Plus biketiredirect has the Vittoria Corsa CX III Tubular. Are these all the same tire?
Thanks.

The Corsa CX replaced the Evo Corsa CX. From what I understand Vittoria got rid of the proprietary removable valve stems and went back to the standard valve stem and extender combo.

Exactly, the Corsa CX is just the renamed Evo CX tire now. It is still their highest end tire, 320tpi and a great overall tire. Has some of the lowest rolling resistance tested for a tubular tire. They are about $60 the 2013 approximately. I still have several spare Evo CX's hanging on the wall waiting for my others to finally wear out.

yes and imo this is BS. the removable valve stems were a great feature. now its back to the silly valve extenders where you cannot lock the valve closed.

Wait so you can't remove valve core anymore? I have an extender where you remove the valve core and screw it in to extender.

I don't know about the new models, but I would be very surprised if they did not have a removable core. I do not know for sure.
