Hahaha...I got out before the kit change. I liked our old black kits (which I still wear and will wear in races next year if race unattached).

It is a good bunch though. And they seem to be growing a lot and getting more involved in the community over the last few years.

Those kits are disgusting...

I like the Vanderkitten Kits best...

In the 1/2's the team thing does play a larger role, and it really sucks being solo all the time.

Luckily I've started to make friends in the peloton, and some teams are even showing interest in me.. so for me the checkboxes are:

- do they race p/1/2's? (and not focus on masters)
- do they do well?
- do they seem to like me?
- are their kits not too silly looking?
so does that mean you are going to join Mikes' Bikes?

they seem to have about a million p1/2's already, and i'm probably not even good enough to be on their squad.

i'm probably going with Leopard-Sapporo, but i haven't decided yet.

My team has a few dudes in the 3s and if next season goes somewhat decent I should be able to cat up. Trying to see what others generally look for. Personally, I don't really care about the sponsor deals because I buy most of my things online and the bike shop is kind of far for repairs.

Primarily I stay because it has most of my friends on it and the jerseys look decent.

Was trying to see what you guys felt like and what motivates you to join one team or another.
