Well from experience here in the FL...never seen anybody relegated/pulled for silly stuff. Because normally, the officials have to see it themselves, and how it is possible for them to actually see everything like the guys in the group?

And with the "no whining" policy down here, complete waste of time except to make yourself feel better to vent at the officials.

Only time I've seen anything regarding safety is the yellow line, and then forcing/relegating people backwards for going over the yellow when in effect. Motorcycle/trailing official handles that all the time fairly consistently.

Crits, it usually comes down to the guys in the group yelling/speaking up and trying to scold somebody into compliance doesn't work much, but worth a shot.
