Any true USAC stage races in the Midwest?

Any true USAC stage races in the Midwest?
Wondering if there are any true USAC stage events in the Midwest where the Stage Race GC would apply for upgrade points from 3 to 2 and 2's to 1's.
We have the Midwest Flyover Omnium series (weekends of a time trial, criterium, and road race) but not sure those apply...

Velotek Gran Prix in Lawrence, KS, but you just missed it. Keep an eye out for it next year, it is a great event.
And you are correct in your assumption that omniums do not count as stage races. The race must be based on total time to count as a stage race, not finishing points.

Fwiw a stage race can be run on points and not time - you would still have to complete all the stages though.
Those types of points-based stage races seem to be rare but they do exist.

I was there this year and enjoyed the race. Great locations! That uphill TT was a *****.
Maybe give the Gateway Cup in St. Louis a look as well.
