I've made a huge mistake.

Ordered a short sleeve skin suit instead of the usual long sleeve, and I already regret it!! Season over, I might as well quit now.

I've seen the big dogs rocking caps from time to time. Low 30's and snow/rain, they come in handy.

Public service announcement. With the capital markets turmoil, mortgage rates dropped again. I did a refi this AM at the lowest 30 year fixed no cost loan ever quoted by the lender I used. I am not saying that rates cannot go lower but today is magic. Happy hunting.

So I've been perusing the USAC Rulebook (Chapter 7) and I noticed that other than age and being a the right category, there are no other qualifications for Masters Nats. If that is the case what's to prevent a certain team or region from just stacking the field with 50 guys?

(I don't plan to enter, lets just call it long term planning or information searching boredom)

I'm glad to be getting ready to apply for a mortgage right now, for sure.

None. In fact, in 2012, Hellyer had a women's team pursuit program and we sent 15 women to Elite Nationals where they won a lot of medals. USAC was very excited and happy to have so many women participating. The promoter was happy because it increased the racing fees and action. And it was the first elite national championship where women out number men at an event.

Bring on the 50 men if you can!

I was excited 2 years ago to get 3.375. Are they lower than that now? I've found it funny ever since then I've gotten notices wanting me to refi and the rates were always significantly higher. It definitely made a difference in how much house we bought as first time homebuyers.

They do. Back in the day you had to qualify in your district in order to attend Nats. Now all you need is a credit card.

I have 2.5 years left on my 15 year mortgage. Not worth a refi since it's mostly principal.

I thought there would be some type of qualification. Seems it would drastically change the dynamic and not in a good way.

Awesome! I have 3 credit cards. (Though I wouldn't sign up unless I thought I had at least a puncher's chance....which, not this year maybe in 4 or 5)

Just guessing, would it be California that's stacking the field?

That seems to be the aim of Chronos.

I find the Windmax is all around hard to beat for weight, comfort and cooling and I really think it is the best helmet there is.
In comparing the two they are both very comfortable and when choosing the two if it is hot and humid I would go Windmax. If it is cooler and windy I go the Giro.

Ugh, I got a short sleeve and really wanted the long sleeve. We ordered with Castelli, had to hit quantity minimums, and everyone else wanted short sleeve (I wasn't going to order 5 for myself).

So Schwalbe is going to send me a replacement for the tubeless One failure. Simple as sending in some pics.

Happy camper again.

I'm susceptible to the aero road helmet argument, but @theKillerPenguin, I'd be curious to get your feedback when you've ridden it in some warmer weather.

Great, I signed loan docs last night on 30 years fixed on a rate that we locked in just before Christmas.

Blame the Swiss. Who knows, your rate may be very good. It depends on the terms and conditions, equity, credit. amount, and etc, etc. My guy sent me a note this AM giving me a heads up on the markdown.
