Procrastinated filling out my bi-annual self performance evaluation at work and now that its a month and a half late my manager told me I needed to have it done ASAP. Reminds me of being back in school and leaving every assignment until the very last minute and then heroically scrambling to pull something off. Either I can't work on things I don't want to do without someone lighting a fire under me/just like the adrenalin hit or I stop overthinking things when I have a fast approaching deadline and get down to business.

Still sick, daytime tv still sucks. I thought after 30 years it would get better but the world has no shortage of single mothers and men willing to take paternity tests.

I did watch The Departed for the 200th time, and during the best scene were Marky Mark blows away Matt Damon I get a Flash Flood Warning....argh.

Fall in the NE is pretty incredible, but it just means your horrible winter is right around the corner.

That's because you're a couple of years from chasing that national shuffleboard crown.

More than a couple but less than a dozen. I enjoy snowboarding but given the choice I'd rather be surfing in warm water.

Nice shot of the lake.

Man these photos really make me miss the northeast. Not like I'm super far away, but North Carolina isn't the same.

Get in your car and drive out to Mt. Airy, Boone, Asheville, or anywhere on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and you'll be amazed.

How exactly does one side of the chamois go flat from use while the other side stays never been used fluffy? Am I half J-lo and half Hank Hill?

I did that Tuesday. Stayed home. I can't believe there's now a show called "Paternity Court" -- whiskey tango foxtrot.

You know, you said The Departed, but in my mind I kept thinking Mystic River. All those Boston Irish gangster movies run together in my head.

I have no doubt, but there's still something missing without the makes-it-hard-to-take-a-deep-breath cold air, you know?
