Independent of fertility treatments, the mother's age is strongly correlated with the likelihood of twins. Above 45 years old the odds of twins is some crazy high number like 1 in 7.

I always tell my wife I'm the youngest, or at least the youngest looking dad in Hoboken. The average age of the fathers must be 40, I think average first time mother is now around 37 for people living in cities. The amount of twins is staggering, I think it used to be 1 in 93 about twenty years ago, it must be twice as common now. I wouldn't be surprised by that 1 in 7 figure for women above 45 due to IVF

I think the nice people at Huggies are not mathematically inclined.

The obvious choice might be Bicycle Race by Queen, but being a closet hipster, I'd go with something a little more obscure like Bicycle by Memory Tapes or Roll on by Piebald, maybe even the speed racer theme song. I can't play any of those tho and more than a couple beers would be a pre req for singing haha, see how much training camping gets done then!

you did say 'independent of treatments', but a quick scan of the link you posted didn't show any separation in populations.

I'm not sure I get USAC's rationale here. A license fee drop from $175 to $100 for international junior license holders, is supposed to encourage racing?
I'm guessing most of the kids in that category have (significantly) more financial support than the average college or post college CAT1 with pro aspirations.

Super pumped that I get to pay 200 clams this year.

On the one hand I'm all for anything that encourages juniors to get involved and succeed in this sport, on the other hand from what @Doge has alluded to it sounds like finances aren't the real barrier for juniors looking to snag contracts and get to the most prestigious races. From what I've seen, the quick juniors in this area seem to have pretty excellent financial and family support structures already so I sort of agree that this license discount misses the target of what they're trying to do.
edit: I dig that they're lowering the 1 day license cost back down to 10 bucks.

I'd also be willing to bet that there are more guys picking up racing in the 18-21 year age bracket, that make it to the pro ranks, than those that start as juniors.

There are lots of "Pros". A cycling pro, that can raise a family, click around on ProCyclingStats | Cycling Statistics and you can see how many were not riding in their teens. A stat is usually comes after a few years of racing.
Contacts (being paid to train) for juniors (17-18) are rare. I don't think there are a lot of fast/potentially juniors waiting for support in the area of equipment, kits and race fees around unless they are very geographically remote, completely time constrained or have no / negative family support.

A buddy organized a local cross race. To help him out, I signed up weeks ago, and put it on the calendar for tomorrow. But it was today. Oops.

I'm hoping that someone can help me out here.
I'm trying to figure out how I can set my trainer up so I can do some steady state while studying. I know I can re-watch lectures or play video games while on the trainer, but I'm trying to envision a setup where I can read through slides and do some basic review while spending an hour or two on the trainer. Has anyone set something up where they've used a computer while riding? I basically just need to be able to use the mouse to scroll and click. I have a surface pro as well, but I'd rather not sweat on that.
Are there any wireless mouse options for being able to scroll through and click things when not on a stable surface?
(There's a chance I can set things up so I can use a mouse on my table with one hand, but I'm trying to think of a setup where this isn't required)
Any other advice?

I have the frontgate brand one. In fact I have two
Amazon.com: Laptop Caddy - Frontgate: Furniture & Decor
It looks like this one is a knock off
I'm able to do anything I want on it. I regularly post on BF and answer emails while riding.

We don't use tegrity, but in recorded lectures the slides and voice are already synced. I'm hoping not to rewatch things and just read material while listening to music.
That looks decent, but realistically I only need to be able to use a mouse. I have a pretty big external monitor I can connect my surface to and just need to be able to click and open lectures and scroll through slides to re-read material. My laptop is basically a docked computer at this point.

can you separate the two? this is anecdotal, but we know numerous people who got pregnant after 40, and it seems like the older one goes the more are 'assisted'.
you did say 'independent of treatments', but a quick scan of the link you posted didn't show any separation in populations.

Honestly, I don't know where the commonly cited 1 in 7 number comes from. I recall my wife's doctor quoting it back in 2003. But the only hard data I can find is from the National Center for Health Statistics.
According to that data, in 1980, when fertility treatment was much less common, a 40 year old mother was about twice as likely to have twins as a 20 year old mother. In 1980, the rate for 40 year olds was about 1 in 40. In 2009 the rate for 40 year olds was about 1 in 14. The 1980 rate could be assumed to be the baseline rate independent of fertility treatment, although there could be other factors contributing to the current increased rate.
