I have not seen Atlanta... but as a rap and hip-hop fan I may have to check it out.

Now that's funny. Cold medicine + not paying attention + ? Would you believe I actually went back and corrected his last name from Sandberg?
Ironically though, much like getting his name right I'm kind of 1/2 and 1/2 on him. I can watch most of his stuff, but I don't love it. I do, however, love 99. It's Holt and Terry Crews who make it for me.

Thanks.
I think I fall victim to trolls, or something like that. Plus no prior history etc.

We open the (screened in) porch to our cats. Door to the outside is locked, cats don't go out. In fact if there's an animal out there they usually get all fuzzy and run inside.
With the temps dropping into the 60s it's nice to let them out there all day. When it gets chilly we round them up and close the door.
Last night I went to feed our stressed cat who gets Prozac nightly. He usually waits for his wet food but he wasn't around. I looked at his normal hiding spots but nothing. Checked the porch, which we'd closed up hours before, maybe 5 hours before. Sometimes we miss a cat. Nothing. Keep checking around. I actually let one of the other cats onto the porch just because, while I was looking. He spotted something outside and started his low growl. Didn't stop. So I went out, maybe it's a fox or a bear or something and I want to see it.
I'm looking out there and suddenly our Prozac cat strolls up to the screen FROM THE OUTSIDE. Nudges a previously unknown slit in the screen and strolls in, right past me, and trots over to his wet food.
Now I'm thinking that maybe he started feeling better because he's been out, not because he's gotten Prozac and stuff. No flea collars, no tick protection, tons of poison ivy outside, so no more porch until it's fixed.
Hopefully our Prozac cat doesn't start peeing and pooping all over the place.
Ha. I just heard some scraping. It was the Prozac cat at the screen porch door, wanting to go out.

Now I'm wondering when people said "Yeah, there's a gray cat" and I tell them "there's no gray cat around here, there's just a black one" if the gray cat was our cat.

Due to the recent brush fire, our white cat is now a gray cat. Ash has covered everything and he rolls around in it.

I forget, did you ever get your housing situation settled? This fire hasn't unsettled it again has it?

Mouse season. Our cat is catching a mouse every other day or so. I'm so happy when she does that. It's the only point of a cat IMO.

Pity because it heated the inside of the entire house 40 deg F over outside temps. So 30 deg F outside, 70 deg F inside. It was perfect because it couldn't keep up once the temps got really cold so it forced our water baseboard heater to kick on, keeping them from getting frozen. $5 pellets every 2-3 days. Also we could run that and some lights and some other stuff off of one 1600w generator, when the power went out for a week in Nov one year. Not anymore.

I'm really curious how long he's been slipping through that opening. If they were all going out it would be one thing, we'd notice zero cats in the porch. But when there's, you know, 4-5-6-7 cats in the porch, what's one more or less?

Also watched a DC-10 drop phos-chek from the front yard.
Now I want to retire and move back to the mountains where real estate is cheaper. The main problem is Mrs. John doesn't want to move there. It's getting close to decision time.
