Moved into our SF apartment today. Nice place, but our last place was the first place I really felt was "home". We were there over 4 years.

Our 2 cats didn't know what was happening. I feel bad for them, just suddenly in a new place without their usual hideaways and hangout spots. Makes it a bit easier on me, knowing I'm not a cat and I at least know what's going on and knew it was coming!

All the old furniture and humans help the kitties adjust a bit. It's gonna be tough for us to adjust to having no parking space or washer dryer. And it feels weird to be going to bed now some place that isn't "home"!

this is awesome. Even more so because the guy seems to be a 5.

That's some throw down NYC anger right there. Take that America.

You can tell he's a 5 by how much upper body strength he still has.

I'm not entirely clear on what that being a red hook race has to do with him being a 5, but yeah, he's a 5. It was a bike his friend loaned him, and he crashed in the qualifier.

I'm *hoping* the bike was already totally borked before he did that and the video is just the dude destroying an already destroyed frame/wheels. I hope his friend hangs it up on a wall and gets the rider to sign it.

I went to my nephew's wrestling tournament this weekend. When did Super Hero logos on High School uniforms become a thing? One school had a Superman logo, another had the Avengers, and there was a Captain America uniform as well. I can figure out if its pretentious or awesome.

In his facebook posts he was explaining that in the heat of battle when your heart rate is above 190 and you train all year and crash you get the feels.

I'm not sure how walking back your HR is at 190, just for starters...

Alex, I'll take things a Cat 5 says, for a thousand.

Our watts are bigger out here, so you get fewer of them. It's like imperial gallons.

I started looking for a coach today for Daniel - with blessing of old trainer/coach.
Focus will be track while staying a roadie. So no get huge sprint stuff.
Going to start post collegiate road season for a year and see how things turn out.
If he's at a very high level USAF has a good program after form 303 gets approved Air Force Sports (this may end up an active duty thing)

Either way the chase/goal is good stuff.

Thought old coach was more into strength/power. Wouldn't that be a better fit for track or are you looking for someone more geographically convenient?

I'm in the transition phase of this right now. My daughter is now 16. I am trying to get in "final instructions", so to speak, before she launches out on her own. I'm excited about what the next several years have in store for her and at the same time mourning that I won't have this time with her much longer as well as the time that has passed already.

Oh. And hi everyone. Figured I'd pop in and take a look around. It's been a while.
