Twins wisdom from a 12-year veteran:
- Two babies outnumber two adults.
- Play zone defense.
- Play the richochet.
- Lower your standards.

A Canadian racing in the US doesn't already require one?

No, it goes by where you have primary residency...which is the US for me. The irony, I suppose, is that I need the international license in order to race in my home country (Canadian RR championships and BC Super Week). Even more bizarre, I have to apply for it through USAC, rather than Cycling Canada. (And I have to make extra clear that I need the 'CAN' country code, so I can race in the CDN championships.)

Speaking of license, anyone else having trouble renewing? USA Cycling opens a "New Beta Membership Site" and asks me to login again (even though I am already logged in). Problem is the login doesn't work. Password is correct or else I couldn't login to the main site. Email is correct as I just checked on the main site what email is linked to my account. Also tried username and license number and nothing worked.

I renewed and got the "green" digital only license like last year rather than spending extra money for them to mail me a card. Then they mailed me a big envelope containing two small USAC stickers.

I don't even really have confirmation that I have a team to ride for next year. Hmmm.

Spent the day in various waiting rooms. My mom was having mysterious stomach pains, wooziness, and nausea. First to urgent care in Tahoe City, which sent us to the local hospital in Truckee, which sent us to the regional hospital in Reno. At this point it may just be a reaction to all the meds she's on. They're going to keep her overnight in Reno.

Did you post about this on Facebook? Because I saw a post ripping USAC for this.

this is baby A's new deal - sleeping, not responding to the light or his name or anything, and just screaming. lasts 5 minutes to maybe 2 hours.

My brother in law was riding fat bikes on a local trail today and ran into a recent presidential candidate.
Apparently she's staying at the mountain house. She is like the Yeti of the northeast now.

But for him it was earaches. Should have used antibiotics. Did the ear tubes thing and that helped. He still did that for a couple years and still whines.
For my daughter it was lactose intolerance. Switched to soy - problem went.
