I bought one last year when they were on sale and built it up with XT components, Marzocchi MX Pro 120mm fork and Mavic XM317 wheels to about 25lb. I like it a lot. I haven't noticed any real problems with paint durability although it has picked up a scratch or two but, hell, it's a mountain bike.
