Get winter clothing and ride! Nothing like the great outdoors. Granted, the clothing can be expensive, but think of how much more biking you can do during the winter.
The only time I get on the trainer is if the road is too wet and the oil gets to the surface...well, maybe the occasional 45minute recovery ride, too.
