Avid Hydrualic brakes are great, so I hear, a good price in them now, too! I think magura marta SL's are great(but more expensive), and Hope makes great, unique brakes, I have a set of Hope mini's and they're AWESOME! Don't worry about mineral oil or DOT 4(or 5.1) automotive fluid being a selling point, just use more care in dispensing Automotive fluids(just like your own car).
