What should i get?

I have a trek 4500 2007, with £120 ($235) to spend on it, and i was wondering what would be the best thing to buy. I am thinking of either getting a hydro disc brake or a new fork. Could you give me some advise on what would be the most worthwhile buy?
I am only a biking novice so i dont do anything too extreme...yet.
