Finally looked to see exactly how much money I can spend on the bike in the next 2 weeks and I have more than enough, so if I don't get a response from the guy I bought the bike from on if he wants to sell me the parts I'm just going to order them tomorrow afternoon.
I've read on this forum that LBS don't always like to put together bikes with parts from the internet. I plan on getting the wheels trued, buying the chain and brake cable from them, getting the bars re taped, and probably buy some accessories through them. I know they need to make money to but I've already explained to them that I'm on a budget and they told me to look for a used frame or do a conversion so I don't think it will be a problem but I also don't want to come off as a jerk or anything.
