It was me. I followed up either in PM or on the thread telling him that the description of the tires when my wife bought them did not say that they had carbide tips or that they were made by Kenda.
He of course did not dispute that.
daredevil ASSUMED they were Kenda tires with carbide tips because Nashbar has used those tires in recent history as their house branded tire and they had a picture of what looked to him like carbide tipped studs. One way or another they ran out and needed another tire to supply to their customer which met the spec of their description and that is studded snow tires.
They are not required to give you any more or any less.
