Um my wife Gina wore Nike shorts. Mens as amatter of fact cause she didn't like thelow cut front on the womens shorts. We went to the LBS to find more Nikes but she found TERRY shorts for women. SHe bought a couple pair and has been REAL happywith them. Terry products are aimed towards women's comfort.

The more you ride, the more you will find that the black lycra shorts are more effective for cycling. I used to feel the same about wearing them but after creeping shorts, thigh burns on the inside, getting caught on the seat while trying to stand, I found that the non baggy cover is way better.

Just like you are finding that you need padded shorts, you'l discover the rest. So take the advice now and cut thru all the "learn the hardway" stuff!
