Trailer could work fine...

What type of tour? Credit card? Get a seatpost beam style rack and travel light.

But, it will take a rack. You just need to get creative.

Travelling light, but with more gear than a CC tour?
I successfully mounted a Tubus fly on my LeMond Zurich and used small Ortlieb panniers on it for around town and a 400k brevet. I found an adapter that worked at the frame, and I used a hardware store clamp around the seatpost. Handlebar bag on the front and you'd have plenty of room for ultralight touring.

Tubus Fly from Peter White (I modified to get the top support up to the seatpost) The original concept is to bolt behind the brake... but I didn't want to mess with taking the brake on and off.

Or get a larger Tubus rack and QR adaptor. You'll still have to work out the top connection - but its do-able.

What about Old Man Mountain?
Cold Springs rear, with a skewer attachment.
You'll have to work out how to attach it to the bike at the top. Again, a band clamp and seatpost connection might work...

You'll have to judge how much weight you feel comfortable / want to carry...
