Pat Bertotti, the new NorCal MS Pres was involved with Houston chapter so she knows how good these rides can be. She's hoping to build it that large one day over here.

Can you imagine 30k riders crossing the Golden Gate! That'd be nuts, but an extraordinary sight!
I haven't ridden across the Golden Gate, but routes through Wine Country are beautiful.
