Opinions on Klein Quantum (2002)

I have the opportunity to get a used 2002 Klein Quantum for about $650. It has the stock Shimano 105 groupo, and the few upgrades are Look clipless pedals, a racing seat, and narrower, lighter bars (40cm), and a cycling computer that comes with it. The seller is a college student who teaches maintenance classes and races, so I imagine it's well maintained. It also appears to be just the right size for me, based on the Competitive Cyclist calculator and the measurements of the Klein. So all in all it seems like it's a darn good deal on a darn good first road bike that will fit me well.

Unfortunately I can't actually test it out as I live two states away - my family is in the same town as the seller, however, which is why I am interested.

I've read good things about Klein's here, but if anyone has ideas of a better buy in the $700 range let me know.
