You really have to wonder about WADA that they would leave Mr. Pound in charge. They can't believe that his leadership is effective.

I've also found it interesting that he's picked a sport where the athletes have little power or resource to fight back. Aside from Lance none of these guys have really deep pockets to fight him in the courts. They don't have a strong union like many other sports do, with which they could fight back collectively. Pound has found the perfect stage on which to spew his attacks. A sport with no defense, that does have some doping issues, and an event that has the worlds attention, the TdF. It's really sad that if done properly WADA could have a positive affect on cycling and sport in general. Unfortunately Pound has focused more attention on his rhetoric than the issues.
