I ride track drops and a zero drop stem and actually use the other hand positions I have really long ogre arms so it works out fine
but I am a huge fan of mavic their machine built wheels are insanely sturdy I have a set of mavic elipses I ride on the street and I am 220# alot of my friends love their machien built wheels for cross and dh sturdy and relatively inexpensive for the price
