On a brighter note. even with those ugly looking nicks... Just used a Cartridge B/B. For you won't need to even worry about that!!!. In the old days when the spindle had to line up with loose bearings. You would need to have it fixed. But a Cartridge is already one unit in it's self. Just have the threads gone over and you'll be fine
I finally made the switch to hollowtech (Saint dbl) and I doubt Ill go back. The design just makes so much more sense.
