I have a small hatchback. If you only want a rack for use with one bike, I strongly recommend this Allen rack. I have used it for a couple of years, and it goes on the car, after the initial adjustments have been done, in about 3 minutes. It feels very stable. For the price, under $54.00, I don't think it can be beat. You may find it for even less.
