My dad has had it for longer than I can remember and only recently became slightly overweight. He had surgery to remove his soft pallate and surrounding tissues years ago but it didn't help. He did the first sleep study but refused to be fitted for a CPAP. maybe after I use mine for a while he'll learn yet another lesson from his son....
