Hi kman79,

I don't think there will be much difference in the frames. They are both aluminum. Might check around to see if there is a big difference in geometry.

The Dawes also has an FSA crank with external bearings. Can't give you any ideas on the wheels.

Between the two I would go with the Dawes. You'll spend more than $200 upgrading the Fuji to the Dawes spec.

Now for an aside: I'm assuming your budget is <$800. If you have a LBS see if you can find something to actually ride and on clearance. I just save 20% on a Cannondale R800 from last year. Now is when shops clear out for spring.
