Chip, I've already said that I think the definition in the OP is fine. My only comment is that associating the term "vehicular cycling" with the very specific definition in the OP is likely to cause confusion because it means something other than what "vehicular cycling" is most often used to mean, the
general concept of
riding a bicycle on roadways in accordance to the rules of the road for vehicles.
