Since the bus company and I had very different opinions on bus-prices this winter, I had to ride my bike to school. 7 kilometers, -20 degrees C, 15 cm of snow on the road and dense snow whipping me in the eyes.. In summer this distance takes about 20 minutes for me, but with 15 cm of snow to plow through it took about 45 minutes. I was possibly more sweaty than i would be after any mountain-climb in summer and really worn out. But i guess i sat the record of an amateur riding a bike with 2.10" tires through 15 cm of snow on a 7 km distance 7 AM (Oh, yeah, and the tires were worn, so i didn't have grip at all)

Ah, Norway. Don't expect them to plow the snow from the road before cars get stuck on their axels.
