Yes, but be careful. Track threads were not designed to take large amounts of torque. So if you plan on using a small gear ratio to schlep up steel hills, it's easy to strip the track threads because there are fewer of them. Then your flip flop hub won't flip (or flop) anymore. Disclaimer: This could just be an issue with cheap hubs and freewheels.
