There are 2 sets of threads on the presta valve. Only put the pump head over the first set of threads. I tried to jam it all the way on there at first, that was not fun.
well that is what i was wondering. when i put it over the first set i got a lot of leakage. then when i pushed it in more it just seemed really tight
but if tight is okay...
i have a short valve stem...
