I posted these on another thread, but they have been the best I've found. $9.00 at Wal-Mart. They have several different kinds and sizes. For $12.00 to $15.00 you can even get Polarized classes. I have a couple pair of Oakley Polarized for every day use, but I wouldn't even consider using a really good pair of classes for riding as I'd just scratch them up quickly.
As for a Helmet for larger heads, try the Giro Atmos. It's expensive, but this is where I won't hesitate to put my money.
