Trek makes a good bike, I just don't really like their graphics. I just like other brands BETTER, so I recommend the one's I like more.
I prefer, Specialized, Kona's, and one or two others depending on the application. i.e., Jamis makes a nice Steel Hardtail, and Iron Horse make some really nice FR and DH rigs for the money.
