No seriously I have no issues with triples, but it's horribly flat around here and I have been riding full size doubles for so long it's pathetic.

I just thought I would try a compact on a rig that I was intending for slower family rides and possible commuting. I haven't thrown it out the window yet, but as the thread title notes I am just disappointed in my perception of the gaps with the current setup.
