Right now i find myself starting ok but ending up spinning fast enough but going no where. I then try to shift up and stand up to get the speed back but doing this back and forth seems inefficient. Is it better to just stay seated or standing the entire time?
Mix it up. On extended climbs I stand about 15-25% of the time.
