that didnt work. if these pics show up you can see a carabiner like dohickey, I think it's called a universal link. I tied some strong nylon into a loop and tied this to the HH ridge line. when undone the hammock lays like any hammock without a ridge line. In the pic I didnt even retighten it but to get it up to chair higth I would raise it a little.
