The worst part is that the beginning of the commute, in both directions, is an immediate climb. In the morning I start at the lowest elevation and reach the peak in about 2.5 miles. In the evening the climb is about 1.5 miles.
I would be much happier if I had a couple miles to warm up before the hills.
