if it's aluminum DO NOT USE HEAT! Aluminum will expand quicker than the steel and will cause more problems. Try ammonia to break the corrosion (unless it was too big for the seatpost tube, then you're screwed!)

lol its steal but i used a vice today and torqued it right out i decided im not gonna paint it, not really worth the time. i did polish it up a little with some chrome polish i had for my rims though. ill get a pic up when its all done tommorow
