Hell, motorists can't even live in harmony among themselves, throw in equal amounts of bicycles, no matter how vc, and you got chaos. Your vc utopia is a pipe dream...if you were forward thinking you'd spend more time looking for acceptable ways to provide orderly flow of all classes of traffic, instead of clinging to a utopian dream that hasn't, and will not, ever come true.
I'm picturing India right now. Streets flooded with every kind of vehicle. No segregation at all. No order at all.
