Not necessarily. The off season program forms the foundation for going into the in-season program. There is plenty of bike time in the off-season plan so don't let that fool you into thinking that there isn't. Also, his plans are easily modifed. So, I would follow Grant's advice and get the intermediate off-season plan as he suggested.
