Man, this year's Giro is among the best I've ever seen! Another great stage. Too bad Simoni lost that time but he encouraged his guys to go for the stage win too early and I think he was more worn from the previous day than he thought and without teammates to help he was a little burned out when he hit that last mountain. If he's going to win this thing he's gonna need some amazing riding tuesday and wednesday. Zoncolan offers his best chance to get huge time on everyone, but it ain't gonna be easy.
BTW, I love mountain top finishes. They really need more of them. Watching the cyclists burn themselves out at the finish line is really cool!
