I'm a short (5'4") rider and I'm seriously considering this bike. Will this bike be a good fit or too small. The site says 5' or shorter. Trying to decide between a 50cm Mark V or this Mark V HD. Or, am I better off finding a 49cm frame?

I'd say if you can fit on a standard 50 Mark V stay with that. The Mark V has good stand over regardless, I ride a 51cm frame generally (I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam) but went with a 53 Mark V because the 50 was too small. The other big thing is that the Mark V HD has 650c wheels on it. Personally I'd much rather stick to standard 700c wheels and not have to deal with the odd 650c size unless I HAD too and with a Mark V you really don't have too at 5'4".
Otherwise...ya, it's an IRO...you really can't go wrong.
