My #1 goal was to get into good enough condition that I could take a 10-15 miles recreational ride, where it was easy enough for me to just cruise along and enjoy the scenery. I am now at that point and loving it.
Good for you, Tom! Yes, it felt great today to just cruise along and enjoy the scenery by the lake and know I'll make it back home. We're going to have to look for new rides the same distance and further to keep this fun and interesting.
