Thanks for responses! I went and repositioned frame so that seat hangs in the air, supported by pedal and plastic water bottle under the frame. Not sure how good it will hold up, but even if seat touches anyhting, it won't be pressured very hard. It is a brand new gel seat.
It will get blazingly hot in the trunk anyway...maybe not as bad as in direct sun, but still very, very hot. So if the rubber will degrade (tires/brake shoes, maybe cable housings) - I will replace it. Not a good idea to ride on 15+year old tires, but I have rode them for 150 miles over the week, they were fine
And lube...oh well, wanted to relube it anyway
