When I was down around 325lbs I did a 200 mile self contained tour of Victoria BC/San Juans and Whitby Island. More recently (3 year old keeps the long distance tours on hold) I do 40-50 miles with out much problems. I have started riding a fixie and I don't have to ride as far to make it feel as if I was on a normal bike for a lot longer distance. So it will be interesting to do a 30 mile ride on it tomorrow.
