I have a set of Shimano 105 hubs laced to some CXP-22 rims. I want to use them to build a wheelset for my dad using a set of Mavic A319 rims so I can use bigger tires.

Part of the reason for recycling as many parts as I can for this build is because this is a pooled money project from the siblings. The other reason is just because I can't bear seeing parts go unused, and I don't see myself using this particular hub again since I'm going to replace it with a Nexus internal hub.

I know they're not the most expensive hubs...but is there an issue with re-using them?
No. Those are EXCELLENT hubs! No problem recycling them.

There's no other hubset as good for any price, aside from Phil Wood, Dura-Ace, XTR, Ultegra and XT.
