Yeah, I checked some other stuff but the creak definately seemed to be coming from that area, so I perfromed the BB test on the Sheldon Brown's site and got a positive result.
I got some PB Blaster today but no luck yet. The only handle I have for it is pretty small, but my roommate is going to borrow a big ratchet from his work tomorrow so we'll see. That's a good idea about the vise though, too bad I don't have one.
