Try out mapmyride.com. From the home page, zoom the map in by entering a city or zipcode, then select "Find" at the top of the map, pick "Show public routes on map". It asks how many to show, and minimum and maximum distances. The starting locations are shown on the map. Click one to see it's description, then click the link to the map. This is good--it doesn't depend on knowing the town names that the route might be linked to.

I've been mapping routes using the "Follow Roads" option, it's fast. For instance, here's our (one way) Sunday July 1 route: Map
