Thanks for the note. I believe the tubes are welded to the rear of the seat tube. I have not gotten too much air on the frame, though I have taken some pretty good crashes. I'll keep your advice in mind. I have used it for rooted single track and dual track mostly. I built it up to ride in a sweep crew for the Vermont 50 (http://www.vermont50.com/) last year, and I had a blast.
