yes, the frame/fork is probably a pound or so
heavier than bikes with "higher Tech" steel;
it offers a great feeling ride.
room for larger tires (have 42 mm marathons
on mine); very versatile (1x9 with albatross bars
for me), not hugely expensive and just about any bike shop can get a frame.
