I have an older (2002?) Poprad that I commute on. I mounted a rack, and use a rear pannier most of the time. I also put slicks on it (mine came with 23c knobbies). Other than that, it is pretty much stock. I peeled the decals/stickers off to deter theft.
It makes a great commuter, IMO. Enjoy.
